The Assistant/Engineer, IT Infrastructure will be managing all security, servers, and network-related matters within the IT department. Lead and oversee security, servers, and network projects, manage IT infrastructure, and ensure the organization's IT systems are secured, reliable, and optimized to support business operations.
Oversee server infrastructure management, including server provisioning, configuration, maintenance, and optimization to ensure optimal performance and reliability.- Lead infrastructure initiatives and implementing best practices for server deployment and management.
Conduct regular security assessments and audits to identify vulnerabilities, assess risks, and implement remediation measures to mitigate security threats.- Stay updated with the latest security threats, trends, and best practices, and implement proactive measures to enhance the organization's overall security posture.
- 3) Network Infrastructure Management
Manage and maintain the organization's network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs, to ensure uninterrupted network connectivity and data transmission.
- 4) Infrastructure Project Leadership and Execution
Lead and oversee security, servers, and network projects.
Assist Head, IT to liaise with hardware vendors to procure IT equipment, licenses, and services, negotiate contracts, and ensure timely delivery and installation.- Evaluate vendor performance, conduct regular reviews, and address any issues or concerns to optimize vendor relationships and maximize value for the organization.
- 6) Office 365 Security and Administration
Administer and maintain Office 365 security settings, including user accounts, permissions, and data protection policies.- Monitor and respond to security threats and vulnerabilities within the Office 365 environment, implementing appropriate remediation measures.
- 7) Advanced End-User Support
Provide expert-level technical support to end users, resolving complex hardware, software, and network issues.- Troubleshoot and resolve sophisticated end-user issues, including system errors, performance issues, and security-related concerns.
- Experience & Qualification
Diploma in Information Technology or equivalent with minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in IT server administration, networks management, security management, and infrastructure project management roles
Degree in Information Technology or equivalent with minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in IT server administration, networks management, security management, and infrastructure project management roles.
