Assistant Engineer

Job Description:

• Perform routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on mechanical systems/ devices.
• Diagnose and provide technical support for troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues.
• Assist in the calibration, alignment and preventive maintenance of machine parts to ensure proper functionality.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost reductions.
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior staffs.
• Maintain detailed documentation of maintenance, inspection, and repair activities while ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory standards and company safety policies, procedures and guidelines.
• Work closely with team members to ensure seamless production workflows.
• Monitor materials and spare parts inventory for replenishment of stocks.Assist in additional projects as needed.
• Other duties / tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

. Possess at least Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field.

. Min 5 years of relevant working experience and knowledge.

. Able to maintain self-motivation to overcome challenging tasks.

. Independent and self-driven individual.

. Team player with good interpersonal skills.

. Able to work after office hours or during weekend/public holiday.
