Assistant Engineer or Engineer (MEP/Structural)

Job Description:

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of facilities, ensuring a safe, efficient, and well-maintained environment.
• Coordinate maintenance and repair activities for buildings, grounds, and equipment.
• Manage relationships with external vendors, contractors, and service providers.
• Implement and enforce health and safety protocols.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities, and ensure fiscal responsibility.
• Implement energy-saving initiatives and sustainable practices.
• Implement and promote environmentally sustainable practices.
• Address tenant or employee concerns related to facilities.
• Maintain accurate records of facility-related activities.
• Generate reports on maintenance, expenditures, and key performance indicators.
• Execute maintenance projects, including preventive maintenance, equipment upgrades, and infrastructure improvements.
• Follow project scopes, timelines, and budgets, ensuring that the project milestones are met.
• Coordinate with internal teams to ensure the timely completion of projects.
• Monitor and report project progress and suggest necessary adjustments to ensure objectives are achieved.

Qualifications:

• Diploma or Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years experience in M&E.
