Job Description:
As a Project Engineer specializing in structural steel construction, you will play a pivotal role in the planning, execution, and completion of our projects. Working closely with our project managers, you will oversee all aspects of construction, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with project managers to develop project plans, schedules, and budgets for structural steel construction projects.
- Conduct thorough site assessments and surveys to identify potential challenges and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to facilitate the timely procurement of materials and resources.
- Manage day-to-day construction activities, including site logistics, safety protocols, and quality control measures.
- Monitor project progress and performance, identifying and addressing deviations from plans and specifications.
- Provide technical expertise and problem-solving support to resolve construction-related issues effectively.
- Prepare and review engineering drawings, specifications, and documentation to ensure accuracy and completeness.
- Foster a culture of teamwork, innovation, and continuous improvement among project team members.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in project engineering, preferably in the structural steel construction industry.
- Proficiency in Tekla software.
- Strong understanding of construction principles, practices, and techniques.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Familiarity with Singapore building codes, regulations, and industry standards.
