Manage the finance department's operations, financial transactions, and accounting for the Singapore Group, which includes subsidiaries in China, Vietnam, and the USA.
Ensure compliance with established financial SOPs and workflow processes.
Maintain high standards for financial transactions, reporting, business processes, and accounting policies to support and enhance internal controls.
Review local and subsidiary management accounts and prepare monthly consolidated financial reports, comparing them against budgets.
Collaborate closely with other departments to ensure timely reporting and review of shipments, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
Coordinate with service providers in all regions to ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements, including audit, tax, corporate secretarial, legal, HR, and accounting matters.
Perform user acceptance testing, system migration, and implementation for transitioning to new accounting software.
Oversee the day-to-day financial operations of the business.
Monitor the Group's daily cash flow.
Review payroll of subsidiaries.
Review payment requests, invoices, and supporting documents.
Review journal entries.
Assess employee claims and reimbursements.
Perform any other ad-hoc administrative tasks as required.
Requirements:
Degree or Diploma in Accounting or a related field.
At least six years of relevant experience in a similar role.
Proficient in reading, typing, and communicating in Mandarin.
Experience with NetSuite Oracle or QuickBooks is a strong advantage.
