Finance and Accounts Management:
- Assist the Group Financial Controller (GFC) in managing all finance and accounting functions.
- Oversee financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, treasury, corporate finance, asset management, and taxation.
- Streamline costing and accounting processes while standardizing management reporting.
Operational and Strategic Finance:
- Supervise daily finance team operations, with a focus on financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Drive business performance through effective financial management and strategic planning.
- Conduct financial analysis, modeling, and risk assessments.
- Manage letters of credit, trust receipts, bank loans, foreign exchange (FX), and invoice financing.
Policy and Procedure Management:
- Design workflows and develop standard operating procedures (SOPs) for key processes.
- Implement and monitor internal control systems and management reporting templates.
- Establish and enforce financial policies and procedures.
KPI Setting and Monitoring:
- Collaborate with the GFC and CEOs to set and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for all business units, with a focus on revenue and cost management.
Compliance and Legal Review:
- Ensure compliance with legal, regulatory, and internal financial policies.
- Oversee adherence to statutory requirements.
Stakeholder Management:
- Liaise with auditors, bankers, committees, the Board of Directors (BOD), investors, SGX, Corporate Secretary, government authorities, and other financial stakeholders.
Reporting and Announcements:
- Manage the preparation and release of the annual report, including financial and sustainability reports.
- Ensure timely statutory reporting and assist auditors with queries.
- Support the GFC in coordinating financial announcements to SGX and managing tax reporting, including GST and corporate income tax.
Additional Duties:
- Assist with ERP system implementation.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or professional qualification (ACCA, CA, CPA).
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of SFRS(i), financial reporting, and regulatory compliance.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and within a team.
