Job Scope
-Management Duties
- Oversee daily hostel operations as per SOPs.
- Align YWAs and NRCWs with organizational philosophy.
- Foster positive staff-resident-stakeholder relationships.
- Manage staff morale, motivation, discipline, and training.
- Support HOD with budget and manpower planning.
- Lead departmental meetings and achieve departmental goals.
- Implement trauma-informed practices.
- Guide new staff onboarding with proper documentation.
-Operational Roles
- Step in as shift staff when required.
- Plan fair and effective rosters.
- Ensure SOP compliance in daily hostel operations.
- Coach YWAs and NRCWs to excel in their roles.
- Coordinate with other departments as needed.
- Manage departmental documentation and reports.
- Assist HOD in SOP reviews and amendments.
- Chair disciplinary investigations and oversee hostel processes (e.g., checks, safekeeping).
-Development Functions
- Support HOD in staff development planning.
- Help improve processes to meet Ministry requirements.
- Attend courses for personal and professional growth.
-Taskforce Participation
- Lead department taskforces.
- Represent the department in inter-departmental initiatives.
Requirements:
- Leadership, inspiration, and team coaching skills.
- Willingness to work rotating shifts.
- Independent, resourceful, responsible, and firm.
- Degree or Diploma with 2+ years of management experience.
