Manage full spectrum of HR duties, including Recruitment & Selection, Performance Management, People Development, Compensation & Benefits, Payroll Processing, audits (internal and external), work pass applicationmanagement & government liaision, etc.
Liaise with government authorities on work pass, grants and claims-related matters.
Develop, implement, review and improve local policies and guidelines to support effective implementation of global policies, procedures and programs.
Provide HR business partnering advisory and support to department managers on employee relations matters, including performance management review, salary review, employee reward process, employee engagement survey, people development and succession planning.
Participate in/ lead employer branding initiatives and organisation of company events/activities.
Guide/mentor junior members and foster team cohesiveness.
Provide back-up support to HR/Admin team as and when necessary.
Participate in ad hoc HR tasks and projects as needed or assigned.
Requirements
Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in HR Generalist & Business Partnering, with at least 5 years in a team/people managment role in an MNC environment.
Degree/Specialist Diploma in HR Management or a related field.
Strong knowledge of local employment law practices and government regulations/initiatives, including work pass matters, recruitment and payroll.
Work experience in technical industries such as equipment supply and manufacturing is an advantage.
Expatriate management & employee relations experience is an added advantage.
Proficient in Microsoft Excel/ Word/ PowerPoint, MS Visio.
Strong team player and leader with excellent interpersonal, communication and conflict resolution skills.
Self-driven and eager to learn, meticulous, able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
