Basic Purpose
This position reports directly to Infrastructure Lead, and the core responsibilities of this role is to coordinate IT infrastructure initiatives, manage outsource vendors, handle security, MS365, network, backup, maintain on-premises servers, AVs and support day-to-day infrastructure issues reported by users.
Job Scope and Responsibilities:
Infrastructure Design and Planning:
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business requirements and design scalable and reliable infrastructure solutions.
Plan and implement infrastructure upgrades to meet evolving business needs.
Server and Network Management:
Oversee the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of servers and network devices.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure maximum uptime.
Security and Compliance:
Implement and maintain security protocols and measures to safeguard the organization's data and systems.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.
Cloud Integration:
Evaluate, implement, and manage cloud solutions to enhance scalability and flexibility.
Work with cloud service providers to optimize infrastructure in a cost-effective manner.
Collaboration and Communication:
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate infrastructure with other business systems.
Communicate effectively with team members, management, and external vendors.
Disaster Recovery and Backup:
Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans to minimize downtime in case of system failures.
Implement and manage backup solutions to protect critical data.
Performance Optimization:
Identify and implement strategies for performance improvement and optimization of infrastructure components.
Conduct regular performance assessments and capacity planning.
Documentation and Training:
Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for infrastructure configurations and processes.
Provide training to IT staff on new technologies and best practices.
Others:
Teamwork, willing to share and learn.
Participate in IT infrastructure projects.
Ensure security, compliance, governance and policies are adhere
Ability to multitask, work under tight schedule and resources
Key Criteria
Working knowledge of Azure cloud services. Knowledge on AWS will be an additional advantage.
Possess Azure System Administrator Certification
Strong familiarity with MS365 management, server virtualization, network, security, backup, software and/or hardware
Experience in Azure and Hybrid (On-premises & Cloud) architectural environment
Proven knowledge of cybersecurity, infrastructure and cloud designs for global context
Process ITIL Certification
Strong leadership, people management skills, excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills
Good verbal and written communication skills in English
