Assistant Maintenance Engineer (Waste Management)

⚡Salary: up to $2,800 basic

Job Duties:

. Performs total preventive maintenance (TPM) procedures as planned.

. Performs inspections required by scheduled TPM or Work Order requests.

. Performs basic troubleshooting on mechanical and hydraulic equipment.

. Perform regular maintenance tasks at the facilities in accordance with the SOP.

. Identify and pro-actively respond to maintenance and operation needs.

. Support the Maintenance Supervisor (Mechanical) in performing the maintenance duties.

. Allocate appropriate resources to execute the work order, follow up work order and ensure that resources are used to optimum effect.

. Assessing the need of mechanical spare parts to avoid delays in TPM. Tool & instrument inventory/ maintenance.

. Establish and run small workshop activities.

. Identify and pro-actively respond to abnormality.

. Trouble shoot equipment failure and execute TPM work.

. Attend to equipment breakdowns and propose remedial actions and conduct follow up checks.

. Work to incorporate efficient methods of maintaining new equipment or plant and involved in the installation and commissioning process.

. Ensure all maintenance activities carried out are following relevant quality and environment policies, safety & environmental rules, and regulations requirements.

. Supervise any external vendors providing maintenance services.

. Support the maintenance Supervisor to develop and implement plant improvement plan.

. Complete and maintain accurate, timely documentation and records as required by the Maintenance Supervisor.

. Undertake any other duties as assigned by the management.

Requirement:

• Minimum NITEC / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent with 2 years of experience in a Power Plant environment.
• Possess good working knowledge of all operations in the plant.
