About the Role
Join us as Client Services Assistant Manager!
The position will play a key role in providing core client services support and foster a strong relationship with clients and prospects, aligning resources and services to comprehensively address their needs, in conjunction with team members and other functions in AIA Investment Management.
Responsibilities:
- Operate collaboratively to support client service delivery
Provide day to day servicing support
Coordination of client meetings and visits
Planning portfolio review with clients
Manage Client data maintenance, account updates and amendments
Handle KYC renewals
- Support the client services scope of onboarding of new clients and new funds/portfolios of existing clients:
This will encompass organization of due diligence visits & responding to questionnaire.
Ensuring legal agreement & operating memorandum are in place
Responsible for client onboarding & KYC requirements
Liaise with internal and external parties to fulfil onboarding requirements and documentation.
- Administer and manage the Client Services application (CRM), team mailbox, access administration.
- Responsible in providing excellent customer service to all clients through Inbound and Outbound Calls, Chats and CRM cases
Respond to inquiries from clients and ensure that client requests and instructions are tracked, monitored and addressed on timely basis.
Work by strategy for case management prioritized by client segmentation then FIFO for all work, unless specified differently.
Assist clients on funding and transfers.
- Client Reporting - Coordinate and play a critical role in the preparation of client presentation materials, related information for client meetings and proposals, managing reporting and dissemination of client communications.
Job Requirements:
Degree in business or a related field and/or a professional designation such as CFA, would be a distinct advantage.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in the asset management industry of which at least 3 years would be directly related to client servicing/product development/performance/investment management.
Strong knowledge of financial industry with good experience across asset classes
Good understanding of client onboarding processes in an asset management business
Has passion for providing excellent Customer Service
Excellent listening and strong communication skills both verbal and written.
Excellent interpersonal skills
Experienced in working collaboratively in teams and capable of working across a variety of organizational dimensions and capable of managing across a diversity of disciplines and cultures.
Comfortable dealing with senior individuals and management across functions
Ability to understand and resolve or raise issues appropriately
Strong attention to detail and organisation skills
Highly motivated, self-starter with the ability to work independently in dynamic environment
Ability to take ownership of set tasks & targets
Results driven with a strong commitment to completing tasks within deadlines
Capable of multitasking and meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment,
Ability to balance competing priorities in the best interest of the clients and AIAIM.
Able to work as part of a team and independently when necessary
