Our client, a publicly listed Japanese company in the electronics and electrical equipment industry, is seeking an Assistant Manager (Corporate Planning). This role involves supporting the Manager and Deputy General Manager within the Corporate Planning Department.
Reporting To: Manager and Deputy General Manager
Responsibilities
- Schedule meetings with each Business Unit and prepare meeting minutes during the formulation of the semi-annual business plan, assist with number setting for the Planning Division, and the Regional Planning Division.
- Arrange and document weekly meetings and monthly meetings with each Business Unit.
- Assist in the analysis of management figures and the preparation of reports.
- Manage various projects (such as new business ventures, investments, and establishment of new offices).
- Support the coordination and progress management of planning projects.
- Assist in managing project schedules, budgets, and resources.
- Support the preparation of regular reports and presentations for management.
- Arrange various internal meetings and organize logistics for visiting staff.
- Plan logistics operations (including warehousing, domestic delivery, and customs clearance).
- Support the operations of the Myanmar branch (including regular meeting arrangements, planning, and management).
- Analyze policies and market trends in ASEAN countries and evaluate their impact on the company's business, assisting in the formulation of future strategies.
- Evaluate ASEAN's long-term growth potential and support the formulation of future regional strategies based on the results.
- Analyze the company's business portfolio to identify sectors with high growth potential and areas critical for economic security.
- Support the organization of quarterly hybrid meetings for the Regional Planning Division.
Requirements & Preferences
- Minimum Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Planning and Control, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in a similar role, such as Corporate Planning or Business Support.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Experience working in a Japanese company with an understanding of its culture.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and SAP, with strong skills in data interpretation and logistics for preparing management reports, analyzing - - Excel data, and taking meeting minutes.
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple tasks concurrently.
- Ability to build and maintain long-term relationships with various stakeholders.
- A strong willingness to learn new things
- Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Experience working in regional headquarters is advantageous.
- Project coordination or management experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of import and export processes is a plus.
