Job Roles & Responsibilities:
Commercial Finance & Annual Budgeting (20%):
- Support the CFO in preparing annual budgets, developing templates and guidelines, and conducting sensitivity analyses. Stay abreast of industry trends to refine budgeting processes.
Financial Analysis & Monitoring (30%):
- Analyze historical financial data to produce accurate forecasts, perform variance analyses, and monitor budget performance. Propose corrective actions as necessary.
New Business Development (50%):
- Collaborate with the Head of New Businesses to analyze market opportunities and competitive landscapes. Conduct due diligence for M&A and greenfield activities, creating insightful financial reports to support strategic decision-making.
Job Requirements/Experience:
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA/CPA preferred.
- 4-8 years of consulting or commercial finance experience, with a strong background in financial modeling (MS Excel) and presentation skills (MS PowerPoint).
- Knowledge of the commodities sector is preferred, with exceptional analytical and strategic thinking abilities.
