Assistant Manager, Finance Business Partner

Job Description

• Deliver with the support of in-house shared service teams
• Responsible for month-end and year-end closing and reporting activities to ensure timely and accurate reporting to business area
• Prepare management reports and report month-to-date and year-to-date financial performance variances
• Evaluate financial performance and highlight areas for improvement
• Coordinate budgeting and forecasting activities at business unit level
• Revenue accounting including review of project documentation
• Review project financials and working capital with business
• Monitor monthly credit exposure and follow up on outstanding arrears
• Provide guidance to business on various financial policies and procedures
• Support the commercial procedures and propose changes required to meet financial and operational targets
• Coordinate with overseas finance teams for management reporting and compliance with group policies
• Ensure compliance with group policies and procedures
• Drive continuous improvements in relation to systems and processes
• Support and coordinate with internal and external audit matters
• Any other ad-hoc duties

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in accountancy and/or finance
• At least 6 - 8 years of relevant experience, preferably with audit and project accounting experience
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Meticulous and good analytical skills
• A hands-on professional who enjoys analysis of financial data
• Proficient in SAP, Hyperion, Microsoft Excel, Powerpoint and preferably Power BI
• Strong multi-tasking and problem-solving skills
• Able to work under tight deadline
