Assistant Manager, Global Assets (Container)

Role:

• Oversee tasks related to container lease payments, including both payables and receivables.
• Monitor automated lease invoicing processes, troubleshoot issues, and resolve invoice discrepancies with relevant stakeholders.
• Process DV invoices for total loss containers and perform ad-hoc credit or debit adjustments as needed.
• Manage total loss and container revival processes according to SOP.
• Conduct thorough assessments of total loss requests received from regional or local offices.
• Follow up with respective offices on TPB collection statuses and approve total loss requests.
• Review and coordinate the total loss revival process, working closely with stakeholders.
• Manage container sale and disposal activities, executing the sales process to meet scale adjustment targets.
• Conduct negotiations and bidding with buyers, evaluating their offers effectively.
• Participate in automation and system improvement initiatives.
• Handle additional tasks as assigned.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in a related field.
• Proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office software.
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and cultural contexts.
• Organized, adaptable, and detail-oriented team player, with excellent multitasking abilities.
• Strong analytical skills, capable of troubleshooting and identifying opportunities for business process improvement.
• Willingness to learn and adopt new technologies and methods.
• Experience with data management software like Tableau and Looker is preferred.
• Candidates with experience in billing settlement and container inventory control/operations in liner shipping are preferred.
