Overview
The candidate will be involved in monthly financial closing, annual budgeting cycle and financial projection activities, as well as provide financial analysis to support subvention and funding needs of the company. You will also evaluate program needs and support the transformation initiatives in financing models across the cluster.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform monthly and year-end financial closing activities and provide analysis of actuals vs budget
- Work closely with institutions on their annual budget plan and financial projections
- Collate data across NUHS institutions to perform financial modelling
- Identify relevant insights and compile reports to enable decision making
- Manage funding related issues and reporting to MOH
- Support and monitor funding requests and claims process
- Be a key financial resource, and provide value added support to the business partners in and advise them on operational financial matters
- Any other projects as assigned by reporting officer
Requirements
- Minimum Bachelor of Accountancy degree or equivalent
- At least 3-5 years of relevant working experience
- Possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High degree of initiative
- Organized, motivated and thrive when facing challenges
- Able to work independently and be a team player in a dynamic environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in SAP and MS Office applications such as Words, Excel and Power Point
- Experience working with data visualization tools will be advantageous
