Assistant/Manager (Quantitative) Social Research

Job Description

Responsibilities:

  • Confidently lead a small team of Researchers
  • Develop junior members on critical thinking and computational thinking skills
  • Able to solve problems creatively, and pivot responsively to operational changes
  • Conducting presentations of research results and analyses
  • Strong in articulating concepts and ideas in clear and precise manner
  • Deployment of adjacent teams for operational work
  • Scripting, processing and delivery of accurate survey datasets to clients
  • Maintaining excellent relationships with all stakeholders

Requirements:

  • Bachelor in Mathematics, Engineering, Business, Science, Computing, or any numerical fields preferred
  • At least 5 years of working experience, with leadership roles in market/consumer/social research
  • Have strong quantitative skills, confident and excellent interpersonal skills to deal with different stakeholders
  • Analytical with attention to details and a team player
  • Highly comfortable dealing with large datasets using software (eg. SPSS, R, Python, Power BI etc.)
  • Familiarity with scripting and data collection platforms (e.g. WinCATI, Sensus, Forsta) an added advantage
  • Competency with Microsoft Office, and intermediate to advanced skills in Powerpoint and Excel
