We are looking for a dedicated Assistant Manager for QuantiServ Singapore. QuantiServ offers specialised, fast and reliable support, maintenance and repair services for customers operating equipment by multiple brands, both in the marine and energy sectors. This position is a permanent opportunity, and its location is Singapore. You will be expected to have some experience of the following:
- Ensure risk assessments are conducted and comply with local Workplace Health, Safety, and environment regulations at all times.
-Implement and maintain disciplinary procedures, including corrective actions and
performance improvement plans.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Lead by example, promoting a positive and safety-focused mindset.
- Lead problem-solving tasks for assigned functions and products, ensuring employees adhere to Wartsila requirements and policies.
- Manage daily activities related to assigned function management, including overall operations, activities, and processes in the Workshop.
- Disseminate and share Corporate and Country QEHS updates and information with work floor personnel in a timely manner.
- Specify new products, processes, and standards based on organizational strategy or set short- to mid-term operational plans.
- Develop and implement strategic plans to improve Workshop performance, efficiency, and productivity.
- Lead and manage cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide coaching, and develop training plans for employees.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and best practices.
- Manage budgets, resources, and assets to achieve business objectives.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and learning.
- Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders, customers, and suppliers.
