Tenure Track Assistant Professor in TCM (Acupuncture)
The School of Biological Sciences (SBS), College of Science (CoS) at the Nanyang Technological University (NTU) in Singapore seeks outstanding candidates to apply for a tenure track position at the level of Assistant Professor with a research focus in the clinical and translational studies in acupuncture and integrative healthcare. We encourage applications of candidates who has solid research experience and strong track record of grants and publications in the areas of cancer, metabolic syndrome, and mental disorders.
The School of Biological Sciences (SBS) offers a Bachelor of Chinese Medicine Prgramme focuses on Chinese medicine as well as basic western medicine knowledge with the intention to produce Singapore-trained Chinese medicine professionals with in-depth knowledge of regional/local diseases. This is a bilingual course with English and Mandarin as the media of instruction.
SBS is searching for individuals with a well-defined research vision and an outstanding track record of publications in top journals. The successful candidate will establish and maintain an independent extramurally funded research program. The successful candidate is expected to show a strong commitment to departmental undergraduate and graduate mentoring and teaching.
The appointee will be involved in Chinese Medicine services, teaching of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes, supervision of research postgraduate students, and conduct research in relevant areas.
