Assistant Relationship Manager

Our Client:

Our client is one of the top global private banks in Asia. They are looking for a motivated individual to join their Singapore team as an Assistant Relationship Manager (Japan Market). Japanese proficiency is required to communicate and support their native Japanese clients.

The Responsibilities:

• Be part of a Client Advisory team supporting the Japan market
• To provide administrative support to the Relationship Managers (RMs) in the following areas:-Client account administration and client servicing
• Liaison with internal departments regarding administrative matters concerning execution and settlement of trades, delivery of securities, corporate action, payment and receipt of funds, renewal and repayment of loans.
• Liaison with other financial institutions and service providers regarding account opening request and other clients administrative matters.
• Ensure daily transactional processes are in order
• Assist RMs in making sure there are no outstanding items relating to client administration matters

The Requirements:

• At least 3 5 years relevant experience in a Bank (preferably within Private Banking)
• Proficient in Japanese language to communicate and support native Japanese clients
• Proven excellent administrative and execution track records
• Good interpersonal and communication skills
• Certified IBF CACS Paper 1 and Paper 2 or NEC is preferred
