Job Description

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Sales Leadership: Responsible for vegetable products and alcohol sales efforts in Singapore, focusing on pitching and securing sales in the HORECA, food, supermarkets and related industry.
  • Strategic Planning: Develop and execute sales plans and strategies to increase market penetration and achieve sales targets within the assigned territory.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify opportunities, set sales targets, and monitor industry trends. Analyse monthly sales outcomes and prepare reports for senior management.
  • Team Management: Lead, train, and develop a high-performing project sales team. Ensure that all projects meet financial, quality, customer service, cost, and profitability goals.
  • Client Relationship Management: Expand and maintain a robust customer base by fostering positive relationships and maintaining strong rapport with key customers. Identify and develop new customer opportunities.
  • Partnership Development: Collaborate with partners to drive revenue growth and identify new business opportunities.
  • Stakeholder Management: Manage relationships with stakeholders, ensuring seamless communication and project execution.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in vegetable or alcohol sales, preferably within the HORECA or supermarket industry.
  • Proven experience in forecasting sales and building a customer base, particularly with the HORECA and supermarket industry.
  • Strong understanding of sales performance metrics and the ability to analyse and translate market needs into actionable business strategies.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders at all levels.
  • A proactive problem-solver with a strong ability to influence and drive results.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, with minimal supervision.
