    We are seeking to hire an Assistant Manager who will be responsible for supervising and organising our sales teams. The candidate will be in charge of managing retail sales by developing sales plans, meeting sales targets and coordinating with our marketing department on lead generation and tactical promotions.

You will also be tasked with overseeing the activities and performance of your sales team members by tracking sales and conversion goals, setting individual sales targets, and facilitating the ongoing hiring and training of your sales team.

Responsibilities

  • Maximize Sales Opportunities: Lead and manage on-ground sales activities to capitalize on every potential sales opportunity.
  • Goal Setting and Monitoring: Establish and track sales and conversion goals, continually comparing performance against targets and making necessary adjustments.
  • Performance Tracking and Reporting: Monitor sales performance, compile detailed reports, and present results to upper management as needed.
  • Team Leadership and Supervision: Oversee the day-to-day activities and performance of your sales team, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Comprehensive Training Programs: Design, implement, and manage extensive training programs, including:
  • Sales Training: Develop and deliver ongoing sales training programs to enhance the selling skills and techniques of the sales team.
  • Product Training: Provide comprehensive product training to ensure the sales team has in-depth knowledge of our products and can effectively communicate their benefits to customers.
  • Customer Service Training: Implement and oversee customer service training initiatives to ensure the sales team delivers exceptional customer experience.
  • Onboarding & Coaching: Take charge of onboarding and coaching new sales team members, ensuring they are well-equipped to succeed
  • Continuous Development: Enhance the skills and knowledge of your sales team through regular coaching, motivation, and counseling.

Requirements

  • Educational Background: Minimum Diploma qualification or equivalent.
  • Sales Experience: At least 3 years of proven sales experience, preferably passionate about cars, demonstrating a consistent track record of success.
  • Leadership and Training Experience: Previous experience in management or leadership roles with a strong emphasis on training and development is highly preferred.
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficient in Google Suite and/or Microsoft Office.
  • Communication Skills: Exceptional ability to communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
