Roles and Responsibilities (Assistant FLA / Assistant After-School Care Teacher) :- Following our CAPOR Framework, to observe and provide positive, encouraging support for the children
Supporting primary school children (Primary 1 to 6) in completing their daily homework, as well as spelling practice and assessment work- Managing classroom order (small teacher:student ratio!)
Ensure safety and timely transfer of children from their schools to our Centre
- Regular liaison with parents and/or guardians regarding childrens progress and behaviour
Administrative work (such as planning of children's academic work, class activities, weekly reviews of students, upkeep of Centre premises)- Any other ad-hoc duties as delegated by the Centre Manager
- Requirements (Assistant FLA / Assistant After-School Care Teacher) :
Minimum requirement of a Diploma- Prior working experience in a relevant role, preferably at the primary level, is an advantage
Demonstrates exceptional work ethics and maintains high integrity
- Displays a positive attitude when encountering challenges, and is proactive and initiative towards work
Passion for working with children and fostering their love for the learning process
