The Opportunity:
In this role you will:
Act as the key account manager, developing client relationships based upon partnership and trust
Use your business development skills to engage new clients as well as repeat projects with existing clients
Oversee key strategic client projects
Actively participate in the tender/bid processfrom initial tender/bid documentation through analysis and reporting
Analyse tenders/bids to ensure client value for money
Assist in the preparation and agreement of final accounts, including the handling of any claims to ensure the client gets best
value from works undertaken
Create estimates and cost plans for key client developments
Oversee project spend by creating valuations and cost reports, and clearly communicate variations to your team
Support nimble project management and clear decisions through excellent cost documentation and timely communication
Support the settlement of construction disputes/loss and expense claims with transparency
Foster top performance and growth for your employees via excellent mentorship and leadership
Lead your team to deliver impeccable quality and client value
We would love to hear from you if you:
Have experience as a cost manager, ideally from a consultancy background, on large scale construction projects.
Have experience and confidence to lead a business, build a team and develop trusted client relationships.
Have experience in pre and post contract cost management, ideally in data center projects.
Are chartered or are on the path to complete it. We can help.
Are savvy in understanding the business model and pursuing market opportunities.
Have a degree or comparable experience in a project management or construction discipline.
Are an excellent communicator verbally and in writing.
