Responsibilities
The Credit Analyst reports functionally to the Credit Manager of Regional Real Asset Infrastructure APAC and locally to the Co-Head of Real Asset Infrastructure APAC, based in Singapore, with the following responsibilities:
- Review loan documentation and related legal contracts.
- Ongoing risk management of transactions within portfolio.
- Analyze financial statements and other project reporting.
- Report on the construction progress or operating performance of the assets financed.
- Handling amendments/waivers/consent requests on portfolio transactions.
- Performing detailed annual/semi-annual/quarterly credit reviews
- Updating internal project ratings using internal rating model.
- Run sensitivity analysis on financial forecasts and models.
- Identify industry trends.
- Assess country, market and environmental risk
- Various ad hoc tasks & reports, papers, as requested.
- Working closely with ORI, DCS, Sector Heads, Portfolio Managers and Clients to facilitate client business development.
- Liaise with other departments within the bank (back office, RISQ, DFIN etc.) as well as external contacts (borrowers, facility agents, advisers i.e. legal, technical, valuers and insurance.)
- Full compliance with RISQ and CPLE guidelines in the conduct of business.
- Coordination with Senior Credit Analysts in AMER and EMEA regions to implement best practice and homogeneous processes and reports across regions.
- Provide training / knowledge sharing to Credit Analyst's to ensure high standard credit recommendations/decisions and upskilling of team.

Profile required
Academic Background and Certifications, Experience:
- 7+ years experience in structured finance.
- Strong risk analysis and understanding of all structuring issues relevant for structured finance during loan's life including risk monitoring, provisioning and work out.
- Strong fluency in financial analysis, modelling and review of legal documents.
- Strong understanding of trends in the sectors covered within APAC.
- Deep knowledge of the internal procedures and regulatory compliance coupled with a good understanding of conduct & culture values and general strategy of SG/GBIS.
