Data is core to Preqin's industry offerings, and the Data and Research Management (DRM) team delivers accurate, timely and complete data enhancing the value of our award-winning offerings. The trust in our underlying content enables our clients to make key investment decisions. Besides collecting content, the data management team collaborates extensively with our internal and external clients to improvise our offerings leveraging technology and subject matter expertise. The team understands the life cycle of data and establishes business intelligence reports seeking operational excellence.
As a Associate, you will join the Data Shared Services (DSS) team and be responsible for maintaining existing data workflows & automation with opportunities to participate in building & executing new developments for the DRM department. This role will also include handling queries, responding to errors & feedback with stakeholders.
What You'll Be Doing
- Maintain, run & troubleshoot existing data workflows & automation
- Engage with stakeholders to answer queries, respond to errors and/or feedback
- Assist in building new data workflows & automation
- Assist in ongoing projects as well as adhoc data analysis
What You'll Bring To Us
- You are strongly self-motivated, proactive, and willing to learn
- Strong interest in building data tools & automation as well as analysing data
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset with ability to break down high-level requirements into actionable solutions and to think outside the box
- Strong communication skills to engage with internal stakeholders
- Proficient in Excel (preferably with pivot tables), experience with Alteryx is an advantage
