What the day will look like
Service Advocacy Treaty Technical Accounting & Claims
Lead and manage the Service Advocacy functions for our Treaty Clients domiciled in Asia including day-to-day issues and matters, defining and implementing effective solutions in a timely manner
Ensure technical accounts and claims are processed, monitored, collected, and settled as per contract term and procedures. Regular updates to be provided to stakeholders as necessary
Support claims negotiation and settlement of claims
Support carrier meeting for matters relating to Client Services
Proactively monitor outstanding balances together with Credit Control team, identify factors that might impact collections and establish solutions
Identify market trends and insights essential to better decision making of internal and external stakeholders
Generation of management reporting and presentation of data driven insights relating to Client Services functions
Leadership & Management
Proactive Leadership - ability to mentor, coach, motivate and inspire
Actively engage with the various teams onshore and offshore within Client Services and cultivate one team mindset
Develops own and the teams expertise to effectively meet stakeholder needs by problem solving distinctive solutions
Skills and experience that will lead to success
8+ years experience leading teams in reinsurance / insurance technical accounting or claims space
Strong understanding of reinsurance contracts relating to technical accounting & claims matters
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English with ability to communicate complex concepts in a simple and effective way
Strong presentation skills to both external and internal stakeholders, leading meetings, defining objectives, and delivering service level agreements
Strong influencing and negotiating skills
Experience managing internal and external stakeholder: ability to maintain positive, professional relationships with multiple stakeholders across numerous territories
People management and leadership skills
Ability to travel when required
