Job Description

Role summary:

We are looking for an independent individual who can work in a fast-paced environment with strong coordination and execution skills to manage full spectrum of HR function and reports to Global People Director. The individual will have two primary areas of responsibilities (1) people operations and (2) stakeholders management.

Responsibilities:

Details of the two aspects of the role are highlighted below:

(1) People operations

  • Manages day-to-day operations
  • Maintains HR and employees records
  • Support and participate global recruitment in Singapore, Hong Kong, India and Vietnam
  • Manages end-to-end onboarding and offboarding process for employees, contractors and vendors
  • Handles payroll, work pass applications & renewals, leave management, income tax filing and childcare leave claims
  • Ensure compliance with regulations in all operations
  • Conduct HR research and admin work which include but not limited to salary benchmarking, insurance, compensation and benefits related
  • Provide strong support to drive performance management, employee engagement and retention initiatives
  • Support budgeting exercises and headcount planning
  • Support regional expansions and develop regional HR policies
  • Manage ESOP issuance
  • Support annual audits
  • Collaborate with legal team to review contracts which include but not limited to employment, contractors and vendors

(2) Stakeholders management

  • Manage external stakeholders, which include but not limited to Employers of Records, payroll vendor, insurance brokers
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders such as global employees, HR and leadership team

Role specific technical competencies:

  • MUST be able to handle sensitive data with high level of discreet and confidentiality
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (e.g., excel, word, PowerPoint)
  • Strong in organisational and coordination skills
  • Strong towards numbers
  • Strong knowledge of employment related regulations and compliance which include but not limited to salary, leave, CPF, work pass quota and income tax.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong independency with minimal supervision required, but also able to work as a team player
  • Responsible and self-driven

Qualifications (training, licences, memberships and certifications):

  • Diploma or Bachelor degree in Human Resources, Business or equivalent preferred
  • Minimum 10-15 years of experience in HR and payroll
