Associate Director, Manpower Planning (Healthcare)

A leading healthcare organisation is seeking an experienced Assistant Director to join their medical manpower planning team. This key role will partner closely with the Centre of Excellence for Manpower Planning & Analytics to drive specialist manpower planning across the cluster.

Your new role

This key role will provide strategic HR leadership, manage total performance management for clinicians, and lead a team of HR.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with clinical service lines to inform manpower discussions and strategic planning
• Monitor and forecast future manpower needs, identifying trends and potential gaps
• Develop and maintain specialist pipeline maps to ensure a sustainable workforce
• Analyze workforce data to identify instability and inform mitigation strategies
• Work closely with stakeholders to implement manpower plans and initiatives
• Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process for medical specialists, from interviewing to onboarding
• Manage Total Performance Management for clinicians at the cluster level, including data preparation, analysis, and calibration
• Provide expert HR advice on policies, procedures, legislation, and manpower planning related to clinicians
• Lead, manage, coach, and motivate a team of HR Executives to deliver effective and efficient HR services
• Undertake special projects and assignments as required

What you'll need to succeed

• Minimum a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Arts or its equivalent.
• Minimum 12 years of HR experience with a demonstrated track record in Human Resource function with outstanding management abilities and leadership.
• Good numeric sense, meticulous and a strong problem-solver.
• Preferably experience in the healthcare industry
