Tasks
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct testing and evaluations on industrial products to ensure compliance to international standards
Set-up test fixtures for customized test procedures
Review test standards, specifications and prepare test reports
Collaborate with vendors and other departments to resolve engineering issues or testing requirements
Coordinate with clients, suppliers and sub-contractors to ensure smooth execution of projects
Oversee and upkeep of test reports, test records, test facilities and laboratory equipment
Other tasks as assigned by the Supervisor
Qualifications
Key Requirements:
Possess a NITEC or Diploma in Material Science, Mechanical or Civil Engineering with preferably 1 year of relevant working experience
Knowledge and experience in polymeric / composite material testing and handling of chemicals is preferred
Prior testing experience will be an added advantage
Result and service-oriented individual who possesses initiative and good communication skills
A proactive team player but with the ability to work independently in challenging projects and timelines
Enthusiastic, resourceful, and responsible with a can-do attitude
