- Enforcement Action: Carry out enforcement action on electrical and supply installations without a valid licence, ensuring strict compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Collaborative Inspections: Conduct joint inspections with Licensed Electrical Workers (LEWs) on supply installations and high voltage installations, fostering strong partnerships and ensuring regulatory adherence.
- Public Safety Response: Address inquiries related to unsafe electrical installations and take decisive regulatory action against parties responsible for causing electrical hazards to the public. Support supervisors in engaging the public and industry to promote safe use of electricity through public education.
- Incident Investigation: Conduct thorough investigations into incidents in consumer electrical installations and prepare comprehensive reports based on the findings.
- Emergency Standby: Perform standby duties after office hours and attend to electrical incidents, ensuring swift and effective response.
- Regulatory Compliance: Initiate legal proceedings against offenders who have contravened relevant Acts and Regulations, ensuring strict adherence to Regulatory requirements.
- Performance Monitoring: Monitor the performance of LEWs, investigate any misconduct, and recommend appropriate regulatory action when necessary.
