Title:
Associate Engineer (Process Safety)
Job Responsibilities
Assist in various Process Hazard reviews and analysis including HAZOP/HAZID/SIL studies and carry out/co-ordinate Actions close-out from Workshops and Safety studies
Under supervision to carry out analysis and design of PIDs, calculations and prepare Hazardous Area Classification documentation, Safety and Fire Fighting layouts and other Safety layout drawings
Under supervision carry out specifications, Datasheet for fire protection, Lifesaving systems, Safety signs
Support in consolidation review comments and co-ordination with Third Party consultant for Studies including Fire Risk assessment, Explosion study, Dispersion analysis, EERA, ESSA, Dropped objects study, QRA studies, etc
Interact/co-ordinate with Designers and provide inputs for PIDs, safety layout preparations, 3D model for projects, as required
Job Requirements
Bachelor Degree in Chemical Engineering or equivalent from an accredited university with 0 to 4 years of experience
Candidate with 1 year of HSE Engineering experience (Process/Technical Safety/Process Safety) in the Oil & Gas industry will be an added advantage
Ability to collaborate effectively with cross functional teams
Possess strong oral and written communication skills
Has knowledge in Process software (e.g. Hysis)
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel/Word/PowerPoint)
Willingness to learn project safety engineering scope and deliver as per project needs
Willingness to learn Safety software such as DNV PHAST, PIPENET, etc. to deliver the Safety engineering works
