Make an Impact by:


Lead and manage copper recovery schemes and copper diversion projects from start to finish, ensuring successful implementation and verifying contractor claims.
Enforce safety procedures as per the Work Health and Safety Act (WHSA), ensuring contractors comply and also use appropriate safety equipment to complete tasks effectively and safely.
Facilitate communication between contractors, building management, internal departments, and other relevant parties to ensure smooth execution of recovery and diversion works.
Ensure all copper projects meet their target handover dates, coordinating closely with contractors and internal teams.
Monitor, track, and update contractor progress reports, providing regular updates to the Manager-in-charge on project status, including implementation, issues, work progress, and contractor claims.
Manage and resolve site issues with contractors, such as pipe blockages, congestion, access challenges, and cable abandonment verification.
Utilize MARS, SAP, NGNIS, DFF, and WFM systems to fulfill project requirements and responsibilities.
Involvement in supporting for fiber diversion works may also be required.
Plan and execute tie cables for line migration from main cables, initiate copper cable recovery projects, and prepare jumper lists for various migrations (e.g., Switch Migration, Line Port (LP) Migration, Exchange to Cab MSAN, Service Cards Repacking, and iPhone-net Migration).
Update circuit records in NGNIS for leased circuits, DEL, and iPhone-net.
Address and coordinate the resolution of cable faults, following up on planned remedial actions.
Operate and understand the LANCIER pressure monitoring system, including daily monitoring of the copper main pressure system, generating daily reports, and scheduling maintenance for air dryers and compressors.
Manage and understand remote terminal units (RTUs) in Singtel exchanges, particularly those linked to the LANCIER pressure monitoring system.
Oversee the SME store room, including inventory management of gas monitoring calibration equipment and other tools required for calibration and servicing.
Oversee the maintenance schedule for air dryers, compressors, and electrical inspections by licensed electrical workers (LEW).

Skills for Success:


Diploma in Electronics Engineering/Telecommunications or in relevant field.

3 years of related working experience.

Able to manage contractors effectively and communicate with internal stakeholders.

Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance.

Proficient in project management and documentation.

Experience in managing contractors and project timelines.

Technical expertise in fiber splicing, termination, and testing.
