Make an Impact by:
To look after highly customized infrastructure into the data centres and to proactively top up fibre/pipe when required
To perform cab survey, identify capacity of each cab and prepare site survey report
To lead technicians to support pipe and fiber project during implementation phase and supervise contractors to work at site with restricted access
Manage and resolve site issues related to pipe and cables, coordinate with provisioning teams and contractors until completion of equipment commissioning
Ensure that target dates (Customer Ready Date) for all access fibre cable schemes are met so that services can be provided expeditiously to customers
To manage materials issuance to contractor (ie; reservation, return & scrap)
To verify As Built documentation and claim invoices inline with issued Service Order (SO) or Purchase Order (PO) to contractor
Attend site meeting with other public bodies, private housing developers, building management, etc, in connection with provision and diversion of underground plants.
Liaising with Local Authority on Permit and other related documentation
Liaising with Building Management / Landlord on site access
To lead site survey, site meetings and supervising the work perform by contractor
To ensure all safety aspects been followed and executed according to Local Authority guidelines by contractor
To take ownership and manage contractor on pipe & fiber related work
To conduct fiber optical / pipe to check on the contractors quality of work
On standby mode and attend to site whenever being mobilized
Perform joint testing & troubleshooting with contractor
Supervise contractors to perform restoration works at site and manhole
Skills for Success:
Diploma in Engineering.
2 to 3 years of working experience in telecommunication environment work.
Good knowledge in infrastructure work (ie; Underground / In-building infrastructure)
Hands on experience in project execution planning Managed multiple vendors at same period of time
Reporting skill using Microsoft software (i.e; words, power point, excel, etc)
Able to manage contractors effectively and communicate with internal/external stakeholders.
Possess Class 3 Driving Licence.
