The Associate Field Technical Service Specialist is responsible for all aspects of equipment support performed at customer sites or prior to delivery, and to ensure that it is completed in compliance with all company policies and standard operating procedures. This may include pre-delivery inspection, installation, commissioning, planned maintenance, troubleshooting, assessment, breakdown repair, and in-service to customers on basic device maintenance.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned:


Provides on-site technical support during the installation, implementation and maintenance of company products.

Ensures adequate records and systems are maintained.

Schedules personnel responding to critical situations to ensure that client's needs have been met and that the product/solution is fully functioning according to specification.

Maintains communication with design management and specialists in resolving technical problems and/or bringing problems to the design departments attention.

May provide follow-up support to company sales staff and customer personnel by disseminating technical information on specific applications.

Carries sales or service quota, generates service fees from clients with or without maintenance contract.

Must Have:


Bachelors degree or Diploma (Associate Degree) in Engineering

Your Profile:


Diploma or degree in Engineering

With drivers license is preferred

1-3 years experience in a customer environment

Requires some knowledge of techniques and practices typically gained through experience and/or education

Basic knowledge on troubleshooting methods/skills

Basic problem-solving skills

Effective verbal and written English communication skills

Basic knowledge in Microsoft Office

Basic knowledge of ISO13485 / GDPMD (Global Distribution Practice for Medical Devices) would be an advantage

Basic knowledge in ESD (Electrostatic Discharge) precautions and practice would be a plus

Some experience with SAP / Service Max
