Summary of Job Role
The Associate to support our Chief Legal Officer & Company Secretary include ensuring timely service delivery, conducting research, drafting letters, typing and proofreading contracts and documents, preparing Excel lists, assisting in the preparation of Board and committee meetings, drafting minutes, managing the filing system, and ensuring the successful execution of meetings.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist to check through non-Disclosure agreements and other documents to ensure that they have been properly executed.
- Draft Board resolutions.
- Assist in preparation of Board, Board Committee meetings, General meetings and their respective papers.
- Take and prepare minutes of meetings (if requested)
- Do research
- Prepare PowerPoint presentations.
- Prepare and maintain proper records of the department, the Company and its subsidiaries.
- Make lodgements with the authorities.
- Provide administrative, filing, and secretarial support to the department.
- Arrange meetings and liaise with third parties.
- Maintain confidentiality on all matters.
- Such other duties as may be required from time to time.
Job Requirement
- GCE O Levels and above
- Preferred 2 years or more of working experience
- Experience at law firms or listed companies or similar secretarial experience is advantageous.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
