SKILLS REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION

5+ years of experience in Designing and developing Data applications using python and other programming languages 5+ years of experience writing python and SQL scripts for data processing on Big data (Hadoop, HDFS, HIVE, Kafka) systems Experience building APIs using python Experience working with structured and unstructured data, SQL scripting Strong experience on handling high volume data and optimising data pipeline Good to have an understanding of Kafka messaging system Proven experience as an individual contributor as well as leading the delivery of systemsoftware development projects in a structured environment Experience in a variety of software development approaches and methodologies including Agile and Waterfall Experience in both architecture and implementation-level software design Excellent personal organisation and ability to prioritise and carry out multiple tasks Able to influence and drive projects to meet key milestones and overcome challenges Able to translate functional requirements to efficient and fit-for-purpose technical solutions

(1.) To be responsible for providing technical guidance / solutions define, advocate, and implement best practices and coding standards for the team.

(2.) To develop and guide the team members in enhancing their technical capabilities and increasing productivity

(3.) To ensure process compliance in the assigned module| and participate in technical discussions/review as a technical consultant for feasibility study (technical alternatives, best packages, supporting architecture best practices, technical risks, breakdown into components, estimations).

(4.) To prepare and submit status reports for minimizing exposure and risks on the project or closure of escalations.
