Associate Quantity Surveyor (short-term)

Water issues are becoming increasingly prominent as we struggle with disparity between water availability and demands, water pollution, and competition for limited water resources. We are looking to hire a short-term Associate Quantity Surveyor to be part of our Singapore Water team based at the Singapore Office. Duties shall include:

• Working with the Project Manager(s), Contracts Manager, and other assigned leads in the contract administration of ongoing projects, mainly in various areas of Water projects which includes water treatment plant, canal improvement works, conveyance pipelines, and coastal adaptation studies.
• Prepare and review of tender documents, contracts, and bills of quantities.
• Prepare reply to tender queries raised by tenderers and issue corrigendum to tender document during tendering period.
• Involved in tender evaluation including comparison of BQ prices of tenderers and prepare tender clarification letters for the shortlisted tenderers.

To be a successful candidate you shall possess:

• Bachelor Degree in Quantity Surveying, with a minimum of 8 years of Quantity Surveyor working experience in infrastructure projects in Singapore. Consultancy experience will be an added advantage.
• Knowledge in PSSCOC.
• High proficiency in MS Excel. Basic skills in CAD/BIM software for quantity take-off will be an added advantage.
• Ability to work independently, as well as in a team.
