[What the role is]
The Organisational Transformation Department in Nanyang Polytechnic (NYP) leads and drives organizational development and change initiatives across the organization. A current focus is on building a pervasive innovative & enterprising (I&E) culture for sustainable innovations in NYP. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced directorate member to lead a team to strategise, design, measure and review organizational development interventions and programmes in transforming NYP's future of work, workforce and workplace.
[What you will be working on]
- Develop and implement transformation strategies aligned with NYP's vision and strategic goals.
- Engage leadership and stakeholders at all levels of the organisation to gain buy-in and deliver organizational development interventions needed for change initiatives identified, for example, building a pervasive I&E culture.
- Design and drive culture building programmes.
- Design and implement broad-based interventions related to engagement and change management.
- Establish, measure and analyse success metrics, and monitor progress.
- Support specific interventions at the organisational level, such as organising alignment/visioning workshops to foster coordination within units and cross units.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to manage external partners, vendors, consultants and/or trainers to ensure deliverables and timelines are met.
- Collaborate with relevant departments, for example Eco-Campus Solutions & Services Department and Digital Solutions & Services Department to align tech-side and people-side of transformation and change initiatives.
- Keep abreast of industry best practices and trends in culture building, business transformation and change management, and apply them to enhance NYP's change initiatives.
[What we are looking for]
- Tertiary qualification, preferably in organizational development-related or change management-related fields.
- Minimally 6 years experience in organisational development, business transformation and change management, and a strong understanding of related frameworks, methodologies and tools.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address potential barriers to change.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience in project management and knowledge of project management methodologies will be an added advantage.
- Relevant certifications in organisational development and change management will be an added advantage.
- Good grasp of evolving technologies and their impacts to organizations and work will be an added advantage.
