About the Role
Audience Growth and Social Insights Analyst
SPH Lifestyle Media is seeking an Audience Growth and Social Insights Analyst to evaluate the effectiveness of our social media through comprehensive analysis of post metrics. As a member of the Audience Growth & Engagement team, the Social Insights Analyst will play a key role in collaborating with digital editors and social media strategists to refine and optimise social media content, and grow our social audience.
The successful candidate will possess an excellent grasp of data analysis, demonstrate proficiency in a range of social media tools, and be able to provide thoughtful and constructive feedback to content creators, empowering them to enhance their work based on data-driven insights.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Implement paid social media ads (planning and set up) and be accountable for all social media spend.
- Review social media posts metrics and conduct in-depth analysis to derive meaningful trends and insights.
- Monitor and analyse follower engagement patterns to understand user behaviours and preferences on various social media platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, etc.
- Stay informed about emerging social media trends and tools, ensuring the integration of innovative strategies.
- Collaborate with digital editors and social media specialists to compile comprehensive reports on the performance of social media posts and campaigns.
- Present findings and offer insights, highlighting achievements and areas for improvement during Analytics meetings.
- Coordinate the implementation of all advertising eg. Display, Out-of-home etc.
- Assist with ad-hoc duties as per requirements of the team and the department.
Who we are looking for
- Bachelor's degree in marketing or social sciences, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 3-4 years of experience in publisher audience development or social media analyst roles.
- A good understanding of social media platforms, content formats and best practices.
- Proficiency in social media tools such as Meta Business and Ads Manager and Sprout Social.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective collaboration.
- Capacity to provide insightful and constructive feedback, fostering continuous improvement within the team.
- An interest in entertainment and lifestyle content would be advantageous.
