Responsibilities:
- Design, Document and implement DSP audio software modules based on allocated requirements of the DSP architecture
- Work with and participate in research activities together with research team members on the implementation of speech/hearing algorithms
- Collaborate with Sales/Engineering teams in productization, verification, testing and patent application of newly developed algorithms
- Perform Design and Code reviews with members of the development team
- Design and execute unit Tests
- Perform Defect analysis and remove defects on developed modules
- Adhere to software development process defined for the development team
- Enhance or Update existing software modules as required for effective algorithm function
- Write streamlined and effective codes
- Work well with company partners and vendors
Relevant Qualifications and Experiences
- At least Degree in Engineering/Computer Science with exposure to Signal processing applications in DSP
- At least 2 years in DSP Development or related embedded real-time software development is preferred
- Fresh Graduates with background in audio solutions or audio processing are welcome to apply
- Proficient in C/C++, Shell scripting and Assembly language programming
- Background or knowledge in Audio Signal Processing would be an advantage
- Prior experience in programming in DSP chipsets is preferred (ADI, OnSemi, TI Dsp) and/or design on audio applications for real world products
- Experience in software development tools such as JIRA would be preferred
- Written and verbal communication in English and Mandarin is required for communicating with vendors and key customers (US/Europe/China)
- Flexibility in tasks and responsibilities
- Ability to build relations and work independently
- Self-motivated and passionate about audio and development of new audio ideas
