Roles and responsibilities

You will be part of the Automation Team that will create products which will revolutionize the factory floor. You will support our automation projects (Automated Inspection Tools, Industrial IoT (IIoT) implementation, smart devices from assembly to deployment and/or tool development). Throughout this process, you will also be involved in the preparation of key engineering documentation and drafting technical specifications.

1) Work with our engineering partners to get customer problems resolved

2) Support automated systems installation, testing and commissioning

3) Automate procedure through our proprietary IWTS system implementation

4) Install, test and configure IWTS proprietary automation system software

5) Propose changes and improvements to increase efficiency of products and systems

6) Give support in evaluating/testing new components/suppliers

Outcome of Technical Skills and Competencies that Intern will learn:

1) To be exposed to the industrial application of i4.0 automation solutions

2) To apply project management techniques in the management of stakeholders

3) To gain knowledge and practical experience in the product development process

4) To be able to use problem-solving methodologies when faced with a difficult situation

5) To collaborate and work with other stakeholders effectively to meet project goals and deadlines (to be a team player)

Requirements:

. Students currently persuing in any Engineering disciplines at ITE/polytechnic/local university, preferrably Mechatronics, Electrical and Electronic Engineering , Materials Science and Engineering , Mechanical Engineering

. Internship commitment for more than 3 months please indicate forecasted date range of internship

. Basic knowledge of Automation technology

. Basic 3D drawings in CAD software (e.g. Solidworks) is preferred

. Soldering skill is advantageous

. Proficiency in MS Office

. Good verbal and written communication skills

. Willingness to learn and a can-do attitude
