Primary Function:
- Responsible for all automation-related activities of the product.
- Maintain and repair production automated machines.
- Continuously enhance quality and productivity through automation.
- Identify and prevent occurrences and recurrences of product, process, and quality system nonconformities.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Optimize automation parameters to meet specific cycle times for both existing and new products.
- Provide timely support to ensure production machines and equipment meet efficiency requirements.
- Collaborate with respective departments on product quality issues.
- Initiate containment plans and implement effective long-term solutions for quality issues.
- Attend to daily quality and process-related concerns.
- Execute process validation for new and existing products alongside tooling and quality personnel.
- Participate in Continuous Process Improvement programs to boost productivity and reduce scrap.
- Perform internal quality system audits.
- Train and assess production staff on applicable processes and products.
- Attend routine production and quality meetings.
- Implement engineering change notices from customers.
- Analyze periodic quality data and provide management with improvement recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and internal system requirements, particularly for medical and automotive customers.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Qualifications / Requirements:
- Degree/Diploma in an Engineering-related discipline, preferably Mechatronics.
- Knowledge in ISO9001, ISO13485, TS16949, and familiarity with FMEA.
- Results-oriented, meticulous, and a self-motivated team player.
Monday - Friday: 3 PM - 11 PM | Saturday: 1 PM - 7 PM
