We are seeking a highly skilled Automotive Cybersecurity Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the security of our automotive systems and protecting them from cyber threats. This role involves working closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and maintain robust cybersecurity measures for our automotive products.
Key Responsibilities:
Technical Proficiency:
- Develop and implement security measures for automotive systems, including CAN (Controller Area Network) and Ethernet networks.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing on automotive systems to identify and mitigate security risks.
- Utilize security tools and technologies such as SIEM (Security Information and Event Management), IDS/IPS (Intrusion Detection/Prevention Systems), and firewalls.
Knowledge of Automotive Cybersecurity Standards:
- Ensure compliance with automotive cybersecurity standards such as ISO/SAE 21434 and UNECE WP.29.
- Stay updated with the latest developments in automotive cybersecurity regulations and best practices.
Risk Management:
- Identify, assess, and mitigate cybersecurity risks specific to automotive systems.
- Develop and implement risk management strategies tailored to the automotive industry.
Security Architecture and Design:
- Design and implement secure architectures for automotive systems, including in-vehicle networks and connected vehicle infrastructure.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to integrate security into the design and development of automotive products.
Communication and Collaboration:
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, IT, and compliance, to ensure the security of automotive systems.
- Communicate complex cybersecurity concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Continuous Learning and Adaptability:
- Stay updated with the latest trends and threats in automotive cybersecurity.
- Pursue relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CEH, with a focus on automotive cybersecurity.
Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills:
- Analyze and resolve security issues in automotive systems.
- Think critically and make informed decisions under pressure.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Proven experience in automotive cybersecurity or a related field.
- Strong understanding of automotive systems and networks, including CAN and Ethernet.
- Familiarity with automotive cybersecurity standards and regulations is an advantage.
