Automotive Technician (Electrical)

Job Description

• Responsible for carrying out maintenance, repair and overhaul work on vehicles (Opel, EV & commercial vehicles), ensuring minimum turnover time for schedules repairs and inspections to meet workshop's service standards and according to job order
• In charge of ensuring high standard of workmanship and avoid any come back job
• Notify team leader of unusual repair problems which will require major repair and replacement parts for recommendation
• Requisitions and pick up vehicles and equipment parts from the store to complete work assignment
• In charge of ensuring proper handling of customer vehicle and good housekeeping of work area
• Practice safe and proper engineering practices in accordance with manufacturer or workshop instructions and procedures
• Responsible in completing work order for each vehicle and unit services, listing items replaced and material used, instructions and procedures
• Responsible in assisting team leader to control on unnecessary usage/wastage of workshops materials and non-chargeable repair
• In charge of maintaining and taking ownership of individual tradesman tools, workshop tools
• Adhere to defined guidelines in regards to safety, orderliness and tidiness in the workshop, including proper handling of tool and equipment's
• Perform any other adhoc duties as assigned

Job Requirements

• Minimum Nitec in Automotive Technology / Electrical & Electronic Engineering
• Minimum 2 Years of working experience in automotive Industry
• Willing to work 5.5 days
