Aviation Refueling Operator

Contract Role: 12 months (Renewable)

Working Location: 15 Airline Road / Changi Airport

Working Days: 5 Days Work Week

Shift Work: Rotating 3 Shifts

Basic Salary: $2,000 to $2,300 per month

Allowances: Shift Allowances, Transport Allowance, Meal Allowance, etc.)

AWS: 1-month for every 12 months continuous service

Others: Performance Bonus and Incentives

From the receipt of incoming fuel, to safe into plane delivery, every stage is accounted through the stringent refueling procedures.

What's the role

Carries out refueling/defueling operations, which involves:

• Checking the general condition of refueling vehicle before leaving the depot.
• Maneuvring the heavy refueling vehicle into position at the aircraft parking bay, and carefully avoid at all times collision with the aircraft or other airport ground handling vehicles.
• Connecting up electrical bonding between his refueling vehicle and aircraft, hydrant intake hose, emergency landyard and fuelling hose/s in the correct sequence.
• Communicating with airline ground engineers, establishing the correct flight number and the fuel quantity required and liaising with the engineers, regarding the quantity distribution to be supplied into the various aircraft fuel tanks.
• During refueling, holding the deadman control handle and the landyard and be on the alert for the immediate shutdown of operation in an emergency.

Requirement

• Must have a Class 4 Driving License.
• Literacy in English (spoken & written)
• Computer literate and able to use Tablet.
• Preferable having own transport.
• Able to work on 3 rotating shifts.
