AVP, Financial Reporting to be part of our finance team in Singapore. This role offers the opportunity to contribute to a growing international platform in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform daily accounting duties including journals input, bank and broker reconciliations, fixed assets, payments, client money segregations and Risk-Based Capital (RBC)
- Assist in preparation of regulatory reporting such as MAS Forms, GST Returns and Corporate Tax Return
- Support month-end and year-end financial close processes
- Contribute to accounting system development and the automation of daily postings
- Assist with various ad hoc accounting assignments as needed
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- 5-8 years of relevant experience in audit or a securities firm or investment banking
- CPA qualification is preferred but not mandatory
- Proficiency in both English and Mandarin (written and spoken) to liaise with Chinese speaking clients
- Experience in handling regulatory reporting such as MAS Forms, GST Returns and Corporate Tax Return is preferred
- Experience with a MAS Capital Markets Services (CMS) Licensed entity is preferred
- Eager to learn, self-driven, and able to thrive in a high-pressure environment
