Responsibilities
- Leverage an existing portfolio of clients and initiate marketing efforts to attract new business while maintaining strong relationships with current customers.
- Stay updated on global trends in the oil and energy markets, conducting research and market analysis to pinpoint potential business prospects in the bunker industry.
- Develop a comprehensive understanding of the international bunker sector, including ports, suppliers, vessel owners, charterers, and relevant regulations.
- Apply expertise in oil market dynamics and marine fuel pricing strategies, combined with knowledge of the maritime and shipping sectors.
- Craft and implement impactful marketing campaigns to showcase the company's services, enhancing the value proposition for both new and established clients.
- Take ownership of client accounts by managing the entire sales cycle-quotation, negotiation, order confirmation, delivery coordination, and post-sale support.
- Oversee clients credit usage, monitor payment practices, and assist in collection processes if necessary.
- Handle conflict resolution and manage claims or disputes efficiently when disagreements arise.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field, or an equivalent professional qualification.
- At least 2 years of sales experience in similar industries
- Prior experience in the oil and gas sector is a strong advantage.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a talent for persuasion and idea articulation.
- Strong interpersonal skills, capable of building and maintaining professional relationships.
- Well-organized with excellent follow-up abilities.
