COL is a neighbourhood Restaurant and Bar on Keong Saik Road that serves high-quality, seasonal food with an emphasis on sharing and wood-fired cooking.

We've become known for our casual but elegant service style and exceptional food, wines, and cocktails.

  • Your role:

The Bar Manager role at COL oversees the beverage operation, ensuring its overall success and supporting the management team where needed. Main responsibilities include bar menu development, keeping on top of stock within the bar, providing leadership to the team, and ensuring the bar is run efficiently, resulting in guests having the best possible experience.
  • Key responsibilities

Responsible for menu development and specials, seasonal changes
  • Organization, working in a clean and organised way with the ability to work under pressure
Ensuring that the bar is always fully stocked with products, glassware and consumables for service delivery
  • Receiving deliveries for stock and inventory as needed.
Placing orders for inventory based on business needs and budgets.
  • Maintains a safe, orderly and sanitized bar.
Implementation, upkeep and good maintenance of the bar and drinks service areas
  • Ensures menus are up-to-date and correct.
Report bar stock shortage; glasses & equipment
  • Actively participates as a management team member in decision-making processes, attending required meetings, etc.
Oversee daily/shift schedules; make any necessary changes per business needs and budget.
  • Ensure maximum revenue is achieved from all sales opportunities.
Performs other duties as assigned by managers.
  • What we are looking for...
Up to 3-5 years experience in a busy bar in a senior management capacity
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to build relationships (internal and external)
Strong attention to details
  • Excellent customer service
Organised and reliable
  • Ability to work and maximize relationships within a diverse team
Computer literacy
