NOVELA is Singapore's first multi-brand premium beauty retail store established in 2012. We focus on the integration of international hidden gems and cult favorite products aimed at providing consumers with a premium shopping experience at all retail stores islandwide. At present, we have 7 retail stores in the following locations:
- Premium outlets: Novena Velocity, Bugis Plus, Tampines 1 and PLQ
- Outlets: IMM, Yuehwa and Waterway point
Job Description
Beauty Advisor
- Recognize sale opportunities and be able to capitalize on upselling/ cross-presentation of items or services at the point of service.
- Contributes to achieving store goals in sales and service
- Participate on managing deliveries (unpacking, preparing, re-shelving or storing stock)
- Explaining the value and benefit of the Brand Membership to customers
- Engages customers in conversation and establish a connection to understand their needs
- Deliver premium retail experience by offering excellent after sales service/follow up
- Cultivate customer relationships to stimulate word of mouth and grow client database
- Any other ad hoc duties assigned by Store in Charge / Store Manager
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 1 year retail experience
- 5 days work week based on Roster
- 44 hours a week
- Passionate about beauty and retail industry
- Excellent customer service and sales driven
- Good team player with a positive personalityies:
- Provide good customer service to customers entering the store.
- Recognize sale opportunities when dealing with customers and be able to capitalize on upselling/ cross-presentation of items or services at the point of service.
- Build and nurture a strong relationship with loyal customers through knowledge, attitude, and service.
- Operate the tills in a professional, timely manner and with the highest level of respect for customers.
- Meet sales targets by understanding customers needs, providing expert knowledge in make-up, skincare, and fragrance, and offering production demonstrations.
- Encourage customers to sign up for our free membership program.
- Ensuring all products are well organized and arranged neatly on the shelf.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum N Level / NITEC or equivalent.
- 1 - 2 years of experience
- Fluent in both English
- Able and willing to work retail hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- Passionate about the beauty and retail industry.
- Excellent customer service and sales-oriented.
- Lively, energetic, dynamic individual with a friendly disposition.
- Good team player with a positive personality.
